Save the Date: Make It With Wool Week Coming!

Lots of fun is coming your way in just a few short weeks. So, put June 20 - 26th on the calendar now and plan to join us for lots of learning, laughing, and lanolin.

The schedule is still in development, but as of now this is what you'll see:
Saturday June 20 10:00 – 5:00

Kid’s Day/Guild Day – “Wool: the Next Generation”

Sheep in the store! (we hope)
Show kids /adults how to spin, felt, knit, crochet, and weave

Make and take project stations: felting, spinning, sewing

Local Craft Guild Showcase

Talks and demonstrations on sewing with wool

Beginning Saturday and continuing all week:

Display of PWM archive material and garments

Display of Make it With Wool images and any garments

Tapestry Gallery open for viewing

Display of customer’s projects

Guild info and displays, non-profit art and craft group information table

Coloring book on wool story for kids
Vote for your favorite breed with “vote for me” posters throughout the store with attributes of each breed - Announce winner of popular vote on Friday at opening

Friday June 26 5:30 – 8:30 pm

Reception for current and past winners of the Make it With Wool contest, and display of their garments and photos.
