Staff Picks: Coyoacan Blanket

The Woolen Mill Store staff has been sharing their favorite blankets from the 2013 Pendleton Home collection. The next staff pick comes from your friendly neighborhood blogger.

Artist Frida Kahlo was born, lived, and produced some of her most famous works in Coyoacan -- one of the oldest neighborhoods in Mexico City. The colors and patterns of this blanket reflect the artistic traditions and fanciful style of the indigenous Tehuana women in the region.

Today, the Coyoacan borough is a tranquil area with parks and cobblestone streets.

This blanket is available in three sizes: the traditional Robe (64x80), Queen (90x90), and King (108x90) at the Woolen Mill Store or any Pendleton Home store. You can also shop the Pendleton Catalog online.
